Brand Strategy, Naming and Visual Identity
A new identity for the discerning eyewear consumer
Optimed Corporation, an upscale eyewear company with a 35-year-old legacy, reached out to us to help them speak and appeal to the modern consumer for their newly launched eyewear brand. So, as part of our collaboration, we created an identity that embodied and loudly proclaimed this new-born brand’s sense and sensibilities.
We named the brand ‘One Degree’. The logo we crafted combined a handwritten script for ‘One’ - evoking warmth and creativity - with a geometric ‘Degree’ symbolising modern precision. The pairing made for a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation. The colour palette is muted and sophisticated - aspirational yet approachable - while also performing all of its functional roles.
