Turning Social Engagement into Real Currency

Hyper, a startup social media marketing company, needed a direct mailer that would capture the attention of prospective clients—something with a longer shelf life than a fleeting post, tweet, or like.

Social Media as Currency

Every interaction on social media translates to business value—a reality we brought to life through the concept of social currency. We designed a set of custom banknotes, each inspired by the top three social platforms—Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram—using platform-specific language and iconography. The stacked currency packs were then mailed to potential clients, creating an engaging, tactile experience that reinforced a simple truth: social media isn’t just engagement; it’s money on the table.
