Mind over matter: A visual journey through sound
After a five-year hiatus, Barefaced Liar returned with their sophomore album, Mind Over Matter—a record that seamlessly blends genres, from blues and classic rock to heavy metal, while carving out a distinct, individual sound. Inspired by legendary bands like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd, their music evolves with each track, embracing a dynamic, ever-changing identity.
We designed the album art and visuals for all nine tracks, crafting a cohesive yet diverse visual language that mirrors the band’s genre-spanning sound. Each artwork became a reflection of the music, capturing the essence of Barefaced Liar’s evolution—bold, expressive, and uniquely their own.
